Bedtime Tunes
A modern reimagining of Bedtime Tunes, a music discovery platform originally launched in 2007 that gained international attention after going viral and being featured by major media outlets.
Built around an 85-hour curated catalogue of ambient, instrumental and sleep-focused music, the platform was redesigned and relaunched using AI-assisted development workflows and a fully cloud-native architecture. Running entirely on Cloudflare's global platform, the service delivers content, analytics, subscriptions, email communications and serverless application logic through a distributed edge infrastructure for approximately $7 per month in operating costs.
The rebuilt experience introduces intelligent MP3, YouTube and Spotify fallback systems while remaining true to the original vision - helping people discover chill, ambient tunes for bedtime (or any time). The project demonstrates how modern AI-assisted workflows and edge-native technologies can rapidly transform a proven concept into a scalable, globally distributed digital product.
